My story
Trinity Eventing | Beavercreek, Or
Home of 5* event rider Jennifer Wooten - Macouzet
Jennifer is an Eventing 5-star veteran, USEA ECP Level IV Certified Instructor, and Pony Club Traditional ‘B’ rated graduate.
Jennifer’s experience includes traveling internationally and competing at the top level of the sport 2006 through 2013 aboard a horse she produced from the ground up, The Good Witch. They were shortlisted for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, and the highest placed Americans at multiple European competitions. The Good Witch was named USEA’s Highest Placed Mare in 2008.
After The Good Witch retired, Jennifer decided to focus on teaching and training. While campaigning The Good Witch, Jennifer taught clinics internationally and discovered a passion for teaching. She combined her training and teaching skills into Trinity Eventing, Inc.
The name for Trinity Eventing came from Jennifer’s mom, Nancy. After walking the Kentucky 5-star cross country course the first year Jennifer competed, Nancy said “You’re going to need the father, son and Holy Spirit behind you to get around this course.” Jennifer and The Good Witch flew around the course and finished 7th out of 67 pairs that year, and the name Trinity Eventing seemed only too fitting.
Horses are a family affair these days. Jennifer’s husband, Andres Macouzet, DVM, specializes in equine sports medicine at Northwest Equine Performance in Mulino, Oregon. Andres earned his degree in his native Mexico City where he worked closely with top equine athletes in both Show Jumping and Dressage.
Jennifer and Andres along with their son Santiago enjoy traveling and working at horse shows together as a family.

Dr. Andres Macouzet - Team Veterinarian
Andres was born and raised in Mexico City. After graduating with honors from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in 2002 he started to work for Dr. Ramos and Dr. Ramirez, owners of a private equine hospital in Mexico City. After two years of general practice, hospital and ambulatory cases, he moved to California where he had the opportunity to be mentored by Dr. Van Snow at Santa Lucia Farm. The practice introduced him to performance horses and allowed him to gain experience in sports medicine. He returned to Mexico City to work with Dr. Ulibarri and had the opportunity to work with high level show jumpers and dressage horses. In 2006 Andres returned to California to focus on sports medicine with Dr. Van Snow and Dr. Ian Campbell. Currently Andres is practicing equine sports medicine at Northwest Equine Performance in Mulino, Oregon.
